The Role: Technical SEO Manager

As a technical SEO manager at TSCA, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering sophisticated SEO solutions to clients across industries. From leading technical audits and large-scale site migrations to advising on performance optimisation and structured data strategies, you’ll act as a key technical authority.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role where technical rigour meets commercial awareness. You’ll also mentor junior consultants and collaborate closely with developers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure our SEO strategies are flawlessly executed.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Advanced Technical SEO Strategies
    Conduct audits, shape technical roadmaps, and define best practices that deliver tangible performance gains.
  • Oversee Complex Site Migrations
    Manage replatforming, domain moves, and structural changes while safeguarding organic visibility.
  • Monitor SEO Health & Performance
    Use data to uncover insights, identify issues, and refine your strategy through regular analysis.
  • Collaborate Across Disciplines
    Work closely with developers, UX teams, and content specialists to ensure SEO is considered at every stage.
  • Communicate SEO Strategy with Confidence
    Present findings, recommendations, and outcomes to clients and stakeholders, clearly articulating technical details to varied audiences.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve
    Remain up-to-date with search algorithm changes, technical innovations, and the latest tools and techniques.
  • Mentor Junior Talent
    Support the growth and development of our SEO team, promoting knowledge sharing and upskilling.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a seasoned SEO professional with a strong technical foundation and a consultancy mindset. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and confident leading conversations with developers and senior stakeholders alike.

You’ll need:

  • Demonstrable experience delivering enterprise-level technical SEO strategies
  • Strong knowledge of site architecture, crawlability, indexing, and structured data
  • Proficiency in tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, Ahrefs, and SEMrush
  • Experience across various CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress, Magento, Shopify)
  • Hands-on management of website migrations and technical implementation projects
  • The ability to interpret performance data and shape strategy around it
  • Confident client communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A proactive, analytical mindset with attention to detail
